This body of work explores the tension between attraction and unease, where the things that draw us closer can quietly begin to hold us there. The figures, webs, tentacles and creatures nod to the idea of attachment, fixation; the quiet, aching difficulty of release. I hope with this collection, to blur the line between holding on and being held.
